18 Months!
Well Caleb had his 18 month check up today! He officially weight 27lbs 8oz and is 34 inches long!! Dr said that he is right on track and is doing really well on his speech! Caleb absolutely loves playing in his kiddy pool now!! The other day I caught him trying to get in it fully clothed , shoes and all!!! He has finally figured out how fun it is to go down the slide in his pool and loves to go down head first, which he did by accident the first time but loved it!!! He also thinks it is hilarious when Sasha gets in the pools with him and splashes water everywhere!

So, It's been another two months since my last blog!! Sorry...again! We have had a lot of stuff going on in the Green house! Caleb is almost 18 months old....that's a year and a half!!! I can't believe how fast it really goes, but loving every minute!! Caleb is now 29lbs and 34 inches tall! he's getting so big! He LOVES daycare now...and loves his teacher, Mrs. Ann. He goes to her every morning and gives her a hug and kiss when she leaves in the afternoon(she leaves before him most days). Caleb has a couple of new words now: Mom, Dad, Sasha(one of the dogs), Hi, Bye,ball, Shoes, Nana(aka banana), peek-a-boo, thank you, & uh-oh (his favorite I think!)!!! He talks all day, but most of his words i have not figured out yet!! He waves and says Hi to people in the store...which is the cutest thing ever and then tells them bye-bye!! He loves to "talk" on the phone, play outside, play with the dogs, take baths, and just run wild around the house!! we had our first crib incident! Caleb was suppose to be napping and somehow got out his crib! I think that it scared him as much as it scared me!! All I heard was a loud thump and then Caleb crying, when i went in his room he was lying flat on his back crying!! Poor little guy, but he was fine, running around in less than 30 seconds! Hopefully is scared him enough not to try it again anytime soon!!!**hopefully***. Nothing else new that i can think of off hand, I will do my very best to keep the blog updated! I may need a weekly reminder AUNT LORI!!

Caleb just had his 15 month Dr appointment and he now weighs 26lbs 13oz and is 32 1/4 inches long! He is in the 75th percentile for both height and weight!! He's getting so big! Not too much new stuff going on..Caleb loves loves loves to be outside now!! and loves to sweep too..he has his own little broom that he loves to bring everywhere with him. He enjoys coloring, playing with balls and balloons, and loves to play with Sasha and Brutus (the dogs)!!Those are his BEST friends. He pets them, Gives them kisses (He gives the dogs more kisses then us!)and even tries to help brush them and feed them! He loves them soo much!! He's also getting ready to start day care at the end of the month....kinda exciting and sad at the same time. I have a feeling I'm going to have a little bit of a hard time dropping him off those first couple of times! Anyway, I have not been the best picture taker lately...I guess the new has worn off of Caleb!! J/k!! Here are a few though.

Well, everything went well yesterday with Caleb's surgery. Children's hospital was about 2 1/2 hours behind but Caleb was a trooper! He played in the waiting area with a wagon for a while and when we finally got into a room, he mostly sat on the bed and watched tv. Caleb ended up with only one incision in his belly button and the dr assured us that he will have a perfectly normal life and will have no problems having children later on. Caleb is doing pretty good now, he's a little tired and has a scratchy throat but all else is fine.

surgery
For everyone who does not know, Caleb will be having some minor urology surgery Monday morning at childrens hospital. Caleb was originally suppose to have the procedure done on Feb 2, but we got a call the other night and they had an opening come up so we took it. Hopefully the procedure will only last about an hour or so, and we will be going home monday afternoon. I will post later in the week about how everything goes.
